How to Train Your Rabbit

There are many things you have to do to take care of a bunny. You must give it water, food, and toys with which to play. You have to keep the cage clean and make sure the bunny has time to run around outside the cage. There are many steps you have to take in order to take care of a bunny rabbit.
The first thing you have to do in order to have a pet bunny is get a cage or hutch
Where the bunny will live. Bunnies can live indoors or outdoors. The cage needs to have soft bedding of either wood chippings or straw hay. Other supplies you need are pellets, hay, and bowls for food and water. Another thing you want to have is a tray for its waste. If you train your rabbit, it will defecate in its waste bin, and it will make the cage much easier to clean.
In order to have a healthy bunny, you need to feed it a half-cup of pellets and lots of veggies. The best veggies to give rabbits are carrots, celery and lettuce. Hay is also a good part of a bunny’s diet but it is not necessary. You need to put a clean bowl of water in your bunny’s cage everyday. About twice a week the bunny’s waste tray needs to be cleaned out.
Some ways to keep your bunny happy are to provide it with toys, let it out of its cage to run around, or get it a companion with which to play. There are lots of different toys that a bunny can use. You can buy regular chew toys from a pet store or you can make your own using empty paper towels rolls, sticks or baby rattles. Bunnies require lots of attention, and should be petted or left to roam around your house. If you do this your bunny should be happy and comfortable being around you.
If you succeed in doing all these things, your bunny will live a cheerful, happy life. As you can see, bunnies take a lot of care, but if you are willing to care for them a bunny is a great pet for you.
